We live in a little hamlet called "Menet", next to the mill and chateau of the same name.We are lucky enough to have 6 acres of land, all on the bank of the river Tardoire.

 

We regularly see fishermen on the riverbanks trying to catch the local Trout, Carp and Eels. Walkers and canoeists go by, but for most of the time, it's a very peaceful place.

 

In the summer months, tours can be taken around the mill, where you will be shown how to make bread.

 

Montbron, is a pretty village, just up the hill and is either a 2 minute drive or a ten minute walk, if you don't mind the hill !!!

 

We also have a 2 bedroomed holiday home or "Gite" which backs on to our own home and is available to let.
